I was born among silences,
seeking a way to look without hurting.
For years I observed the world
without knowing I was trying to understand myself.
Painting became a way to breathe,
a way to order what the soul could not say.
IO SONO MONGE is neither a story nor a character.
It is the precise point after chaos:
when everything dissolves
and only calm remains—
presence, rebirth.
Each colour is a voice that learned to speak softly:
Ochre, the root and the memory.
Blue, the distance that frees.
White, the pause that heals.
Black, the depth that protects.
This work does not seek to explain, but to accompany.
It is born of love, of respect,
of the freedom to be.
